Last War Game Tip: How to be Strong? 2. Hero Setting

Let's learn how to set your heros

 

Basic Informantion:

 

Hero

 

1) We mainly use SSR(Epic hero, Purple color) and UR(Legendary Hero, Orange color) heros but we focus on UR heros, not SSR heros.

 

2) Usually SSR heros have skills for zombies and they have low maximum growth potential, therefore, we only use most of the SSR heroes temporarily.

 

3) The difference in strength between SSR heros and UR heros are: 

    UR 3 Stars < SSR 5 Stars < UR 4 Stars << UR 5 Stars

    So when we replace SSR heroes with UR heroes, we replace them when UR heros have at least 3 stars.

 

4) Tanker type heroes are placed in the first row and damage dealer type heroes are placed in the second row. Depending on the combination of heroes, 3 tanker 2 dealer combination is also possible.

 

5) Heroes are divided into tank, aircraft, and missile, and if you form a squad with the same type of heroes, you get extra buffs. So, if you don't lack heroes to make up your squad, let's make up a squad with the same type of heroes.

 

6) There are UR heros that you can get for free while playing the game, but there are also UR heros you cannot get. So if you want to enjoy PVP battle, you'd better buy Warrior's Battle pass.

 

7) Warrior's Battle Passes are cost-effective. So even the heroes you can get for free, if you can afford them, it's alway best buying them.

 

8) Here are UR heroes you can get for free while playing the game;

    Before S1: Murphy, Marshall, DVA, Swift

    S1: Mason(*S1 Hero promotion SSR to UR), Kimberly, Carlie, Tesla, Schuyler, Williams

    S2: Violet(*S2 Hero promotion SSR to UR), McGregor

 

9) You shoud rank in the top 200 in "Total Hero Power" to join the arena challenge. For this also, you need to buy UR heros. Arena is one of the sources of getting "Honor Points" and other items.

 

10) Usually heros key skills are 2nd skill, so if your skill medals are not enough, focus on 2nd skill first.

and if the hero is tanker-type hero, delay the hero's 1st skill: attack 

 

11) When you raise a hero, put a damage dealer-type hero before a tanker-type hero.

Composition of the units

1. Tank 

Key Features:

-Strong energy damage type heros

-Most users operate as first units

-Key heros: Kimberly, Stetmann, Williams

 

All users starting from tank heros. and this game lead us to make tank squad first.

You will upgrade your tank squad like:

 

1) Murphy+Scalet(Violet)

Mason+Monica+Richard/Farhad

 

and buy Kimberly. She is one of the best Hero among all.

*if you don't even buy her, sorry but just find other game. This is not a game for you.

This is war game, if you hero is not strong, you cannot enjoy.

 

 

2) Murphy+Scalet(Violet)

Mason+Kimberly+Monica

If your resource is limited, just choose Violet, but if you can handle both, Scalet is better for PVP.

*Violet is essential for Armed Truck Exploration Quest. And raising Violet is easy because you can buy her shards at alliance store.

 

Buy Marshall or just wait untill you can have him from tavern.

 

If you buy a Marshall battle pass,

Put your Marshall in your squad when he has 4 stars.

 

If you don't buy a Marshall battle pass,

You can have him from tavern soon but raise him only with his own shards and put all universal UR shards to Kimberly first. Place in the second squad while he is getting ready.

 

 

3) Murphy+Scalet

Mason+Kimberly+Marshall

 

Buy Williams or just wait untill Season 1 when you can recruit him using"Hero's Return Recruitment Ticket".

 

If you buy a Williams battle pass,

Put your Williams in your squad instead of Scalet when he has 3 stars.

 

If you don't buy a Williams battle pass,

Keep using Scarlet and wait for Williams

 

 

4) Murphy+Williams

Mason+Kimberly+Marshall

 

Buy Stetmann bettle pass or at least 10 shards of Stetmann.(Cheaper) For now, there's no way you can have him for free.

I recommend buy him to complete your tank squad.

 

 

5) Murphy+Williams

Stetmann+Kimberly+Marshall

*Complete tank squad.

 

Put your universal UR shards like;

If you buy heros

          Murphy+Williams

Stetmann+Kimberly+Marshall

Kimberly 4 stars > Williams 3 stars > Stetmann 3 stars > Kimberly 5 stars > Stetmann 4 stars > Stetmann 5 stars  > Williams 4 stars > Marshall 4 stars(if you couldn't make him 4 stars with his own shards yet) > Finish all 5 stars or move to aircraft squad.

*Damage dealer-type hero first.

 

If you don't buy heros

        Murphy+Scarlet(Later: Williams)

Mason+Kimberly+Marshall

UR: Kimberly 4 stars > Kimberly 5 stars > Marshall 4 stars >  Williams 3 > 4 stars > Finish all.

SSR: Put SSR universal shards to Mason first Scarlet(or Violet) next.

 

 

6) Deformation of tank units

It is also possible to operate a modified unit based on a tank unit. *Temporary use.

 

- 4 Tank 1 Aircraft: 2 tanker 2 damage dealer 1 supporter

           Williams+Lucius

Stetmann+Kimberly+Marshall

 

 

- 4 Tank 1 Aircraft: 3 tanker 2 damage dealer

 

          Williams+Murphy

Stetmann+Kimberly+ Lucius

*When Lucius has 4 stars.

          Williams+Lucius                                                                                                      

Stetmann+Kimberly+Murphy

*When Lucius has 5 stars.

 

* The combinations of four tanks with Lucius are natural enemies of five tanks combination. So when you move your first squad tank to aircraft, you can consider this combination.

 

 

- 4 Tank 1 Aircraft: 2 tanker 3 damage dealer

       Williams+Murphy

Stetmann+Kimberly+DVA

* Combination that leverage the firepower of DVA. When you move your first squad tank to aircraft, you can consider this combination also.

 

 

- 4 Tank 1 Missile: 2 tanker 3 damage dealer

       Williams+Murphy

Mason+Kimberly+Tesla

*Combination to target the damage dealer line at the back with Tesla(Can be Swift).

It's hard to use this combination for that long. Recommed to use only before you have Stetmann around first 2 months. If you need/want to use this combination, switch Mason with Stetmann.

 

 

2. Aircraft

Key Features:

-Energy and physical damage type heros mixed

-Main unit of top group users

-Key heros: DVA, Lucius

 

        Calie+Lucius

Morrison+DVA+Schuyler

 

 

* Deformation of aircraft unit

 

- 4 Aircraft 1 Tank

               Calie+Lucius

Morrison+Schuyler+Kimberly(or Stetmann)

* If one of your aircraft hero doesn't have 4 stars yet, use it temporarily.

 

 

3. Missile

Key Features:

-Physical damage type heros

-Whale users squad. You are making Missile squad means you already have Tank and Aircraft squads already.

-Key heros: Swift, Adam

*Standard

Fiona+Swift+Tesla

* Replacing Adam and Swift's Position if Swift has a exclusive weapon.

 

 

* As of November 2024, missile squad is preferred due to Swift's exclusive weapon and dron skill chip update.

Since missile squad requires a lot of money to be invested, the operation of tank unit 1 or tank and aircraft unit 2 is common to most users.

However, if you play the game for a long time, you can steadily grow your heroes, so I recommend having them all with minimal investment.
